Getting started on nftmaster

Education

Nftmaster is the most advanced NFT marketplace on the XRP ledger and today, we are excited to share our beta with the world. As we prepare for the release of XLS-20 on the main net, we have partially opened our beta, so creators and buyers know what to expect when we move to the main net. The following information will help you get started with nftmaster and also provide some education around the XRP ledger.

Signing In

To transact on nftmaster you must first download the Xumm app and switching "Node" to "xls20-sanbox.rippletest.net:51233". To achieve this you must scan the XLS-20d node QR code in the XUMM app and then go to "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Node" - "xls20-sanbox.rippletest.net:51233".

Once this has been completed, you can sign in on nftmaster by clicking "Connect Wallet" and scanning the QR code with your XUMM app. You will automatically be redirected to your account. If you don't have an account, we will automatically generate one for you, retrieve all your NFTs and display them on your account page.

Beta Access

All users can create an account, create buy offers, view collections, and view NFTs. There are some functionality that is currently restricted such as creating collections and minting NFTs. If you would like access to these features submit a request at nftmaster.com/Error/NoBetaAccess/.

Creating a Collection

Before minting an NFT creators may want to create a collection for their NFTs. To create a collection navigate to "Create" > "Create Collection", you then need to fill in the fields. "What is the Taxon field?" The Taxon for a collection is like a collection's id. All NFTs that a creator mints under the same Taxon can be considered under the same collection.

Minting NFTs

When you mint through nftmaster we automatically pin the metadata and assets (e.g image) to a decentralised storage system (IPFS), making it extremely easy for non-tech savvy users to mint NFTs. Before you mint you will need to purchase mint credits. The cost of these mint credits go towards the cost of pinning your files to IPFS and the development of nftmaster. Once you have purchased mint credits you can mint by navigating to "Create" > "Create NFT" then filling in the fields. Then, press "Create", a dialoge box showing a QR code will then appear. Scan it using the XUMM app and sign the NFT mint transaction.

Create a buy offer

Once you have found a NFT you would like to purchase press "Create buy offer". You can then enter the amount you would like to offer the owner. Then, press "Create offer!", a dialoge box showing a QR code will then appear. Scan it using the XUMM app and sign the transaction.

Create a sell offer

Once you have minted an NFT or ready to sell one you already own, navigate to the NFT and press "Create sell offer". You can then enter the amount you would like to sell the NFT for. Then, press "Create offer!", a dialoge box showing a QR code will then appear. Scan it using the XUMM app and sign the transaction.

Burning a NFT

Navigate to the NFT you want to burn. Scroll down until you see the yellow button that says "BURN TOKEN" and press it. You will only be able to see the burn button if you are the current owner of the NFT. A confirmation message will then appear. Press "BURN TOKEN", scan the QR Code using the XUMM app and sign the transaction.
